Field Pointer Reader / V70
A pointer reader copied all eleven fields correctly on 1,200 trained-format development texts. On withheld formats, ModernBERT reached 83.2% field accuracy and Qwen3 reached 85.2%, above the 68% static control. The primary arm failed its held-out gates, and sealed runs remained unexecuted.
CONTROL COMPARISON
Learn seven numeric pointers and four categorical fields over frozen encoders, then predict training outcomes through the frozen V67 composition. Training uses 3,600 YAML, Python, and JSON texts. Development uses 400 configurations in each of five styles; English and command lines are withheld from training. These are development observations, not sealed results.
The reader improves on the earlier pooled-text approach and static field control, but the primary arm misses the 90% field floor and 81.75% downstream floor. Sealed configurations were not executed. ModernBERT refused 379 of 800 withheld-format texts, counted as wrong. No external published benchmark is established for this exact task.

Comparative standing and locked gates
The reader improves on the earlier pooled-text approach and static field control, but the primary arm misses the 90% field floor and 81.75% downstream floor. Sealed configurations were not executed. ModernBERT refused 379 of 800 withheld-format texts, counted as wrong. No external published benchmark is established for this exact task.
Interpretation and limitations
Most fields transfer, but errors accumulate across eleven fields: only 3% to 30% of withheld texts are completely right. Presence fields and field-to-value associations remain weak. Real prose and combination of encoders are untested.
