Calibrated Temporary Learning / V69.1
A separately owned 305-parameter temporary unit passed calibration and promotion gates in a controlled experiment. On 800 sealed runs it reached 79.25% accuracy versus 75% for the frozen base, while 800 older-regime answers remained bit-identical. Promotion applies to the experimental artifact, not the application registry.
CONTROL COMPARISON
Sealed synthetic training-outcome regime: 800 newly executed runs, opened after fresh validation passed.
A 4.25-point improvement in one hand-declared scope. Experimental artifact promotion does not imply application-registry installation or general continual learning.

Model and protocol
The temporary MicroModel learns a correction to the frozen V67 composition’s failure probability from 1,200 executed training experiences, predicting before learning in each block. Its scope is declared by hand. It receives the frozen estimate as a value and holds no frozen member tensors. V69.1 retains V69’s learning trajectory and thresholds, adding temperature selection on 200 newly executed calibration runs and evaluation on 300 fresh validation runs. The 800-run sealed set was locked before V69 and first opened after V69.1 passed validation.
Results
| Sealed condition | Accuracy | Calibration error |
|---|---|---|
| Promoted experimental unit | 79.25% | 0.026 |
| Frozen composition | 75.00% | 0.139 |
The improvement is 4.25 percentage points on this sealed set. All 800 older-regime answers remained bit-identical. A permuted-outcome control failed and decayed. Fresh-process restoration reproduced identical probabilities; 229 protected weight artifacts remained unchanged.
Interpretation and limitations
Promotion means acceptance of this experiment’s stored artifact, not installation in the application registry. This is one synthetic regime with a hand-declared scope. It does not demonstrate automatic regime detection, general continual learning, several temporary units coexisting, consolidation, or transfer to real engineering tasks. Older-behavior preservation comes from explicit scope isolation and was checked on the recorded set. V69’s earlier calibration failure remains a separate failed result.
